
He studied at the Private Conservatory of Dezider Kardoš in Topoľčany, the Church Conservatory in Bratislava, and at the Academy of Arts in Banská Bystrica (under the pedagogical guidance of Ján Krigovský). As a double bassist, he worked in the orchestras of the State Opera in Banská Bystrica, in the Slovak National Theatre orchestra, and in the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra - SOSR.

Already during his university studies, he devoted himself to the interpretation of early music. He began collaborating with the ensemble Musica Aeterna under the direction of Peter Zajíček, which launched his activities in the field of early music and authentic interpretation, which he continues to pursue to this day.
Since 2006, he has been a member and regularly collaborates with ensembles: Musica Aeterna /SK, Wiener Akademie /AT, Hoffkapelle Esterházy /HU, Ars Antiqua Austria /AT, Czech Ensemble Baroque /CZ, Il pomo d'oro /IT and many others.
He has performed at major venues and festivals: Bratislava Music Festival, Prague Spring, Salzburg Festspiele, Bach Fest Leipzig, Early Music Festival Utrecht and many others.
He has performed at venues: Wiener Musikverein, Koncerthaus Wien, Opera national de Paris, Tchaikovski Concert Hall, Palau de la Música Catalana, but also at many concert venues throughout Europe, Japan, America, Mexico, Guatemala, Ecuador and Chile.
He has collaborated with conducting personalities: sir Andrew Parrot, Jaap ter Linden, Giovanni Antonini, Martin Haselböck, as well as soloists: Monica Hugget, John Holloway, Enrico Onofri, Joyce DiDonato and many others.
Since 2000, he has been a lecturer at the Summer School of Baroque Music in Holešov (Czech Republic). As a double bass teacher, he worked at the Church Conservatory in Bratislava, the Musical and Art Academy of Ján Albrecht in Banská Štiavnica. Since 2004, he has been working as a double bass teacher at the Private Conservatory in Nitra.
As a soloist, he has performed with the State Orchestra Žilina, Musica Aeterna and the Slovak Philharmonic. In 2022, he released his profile CD "Contrabasso/Violone in Presbourg".
In 2010, together with his teacher and friend Ján Krigovský, he founded the Slovak Double Bass Club, which over the past 14 years has organized several international events such as: double bass courses and concerts – BASS FEST+ (14 editions), music festival "Musica Perennis Iuventutis" (10 editions), SLOVAKIA DOUBLE BASS COMPETITION (3 editions) and many others.
